Bidrage med feedbackThis place was amazing and the customer service was great. I had the elk and it was nice cooked with something amazing sweet. it was so delicious. the whole atmosphere of the place was really cozy with a warm hearty and great soft music. the staff was super helpful and friendly. I am a traveling student, so I had no beautiful dresses on me, but the waitress still gave me as much respect as all the others. the only thing I would say is that the broth was very hard and the bathroom was a little dirty. if they don't mind, they have a great relaxing time.
Nice old pub, nice athmosfere. We had dinner and was ok.
A grand old dame is still alive in this traditional restaurant since 1904 built in a 1699 building. We accidentally came across it and found out after it’s the oldest restaurant in Oslo city and a heritage protected historical site. The oysters made us food hedonists, we couldn’t stop ordering more. There was a choice of the fresh natural oysters and the the garnished oysters with champagne other herbs spices. The creamy fish soup was so tasty, seared halibut was a wonderful play of flavors with cauliflower purée, herbal foam, carrots and potatoes. We capped the dinner w a fantastic chocolate fondant with a balanced sweetness and tartiness from the fresh berries. A pleasant experience to welcome us back to Oslo city.
One of the oldest and most popular meeting points in Oslo. Food and service is not impressive but ok. Especially if you visit in holiday times like Xmas, even you have reservation you have to wait in long cue, possibly you can’t get in on reservation time. Planning is quite bad in those kind of days and generally it’s because of overbooking.
Really a bad experience. load them 8Euros for the garderobe hanging service altough there are dressing bows near the tables. main dish traditional lamb was terrible, nothing special.
