Woodchucks Grill - Oshkosh

I recently came across a review discussing the attitude of the restaurant owners and their involvement in a potential altercation. I would like to share my own experience regarding their behavior. While driving through town this morning, I approached a 4-way stop where a car to my right had already come to a stop. As I began to enter the intersection, I was suddenly forced to slam on my brakes as a large SUV, driven by a blonde woman, completely disregarded the stop sign. The vehicle had Woodchucks advertising on the side, leading me to believe it may belong to the owners of the restaurant. Despite my attempts to alert her with a honk, the woman simply waved at me, seemingly oblivious to her reckless actions. This incident could have resulted in a serious accident, especially considering the snowy conditions. It is evident that this woman believes she is exempt from following traffic laws and lacks any remorse for endangering others. I have no desire to support a business operated by individuals who show such disregard for the safety of others. It is important to remember that life is precious, and one should at least make an effort to avoid causing harm to others.

We went to Woodchucks for dinner at 5:30pm to try out their fish fry. Unfortunately, they were out of fish due to a delivery issue, so I settled for a haddock sandwich. The food was nothing special, just frozen haddock. The fries were tasty, though. The menu also offers burgers, sandwiches, and pizzas. Later that night, we returned at 11pm to end our night, only to witness a verbal argument break out among some patrons, including people we were with. The situation escalated, with one lady being extremely drunk and wanting to fight. The bartenders were also intoxicated, with one encouraging the confrontation and the other trying to stop it. As the situation got worse, I made sure to get the smaller women in our group out of harm's way. There was chaos outside as the drunk ladies tried to pick fights with others. The owner was nowhere to be seen as the situation spiraled out of control. It was a night of chaos and violence, and I will never be returning to Woodchucks. I would give this experience 0 out of 5 stars, but I have to give it 1 star.

What a funny time! The regulars are friendly and the bartenders are super cool.

We had a great time there as we had our Christmas party there for the last six or so years and Sherry was so courteous and gracious that we can hold our event there. We thank her very much!

Very nice town bar. Not super packed. You have what you're looking for. Friendly bar offers. Can come with a group. Nice place.
