Schooner Fish Chips - Oshawa

Had the haddock and chips, with tartar sauce and coleslaw. The haddock piece was gigantic and very filling, but one end of the fish was just batter with no fish in it. The fries were very soggy but tasted great. The coleslaw didn't look very appetizing but it was actually good in taste, it looked like the cabbage was all grinded/mashed up. The tartar sauce was excellent too. The restaurant, although I did takeout, was very clean and the staff seemed friendly. Overall I will eat here again but it wasn't a perfect five stars.

I very seldom am able to eat out without fear celiac). This was wonderful. The staff were excellent and the fish and chips exceptional. Thank you for a great meal.

I've been celiac for 13 years and that was the first time I eat fried kindness in 13 years!!! So delicious the onion rings were huge and crisp, the Halibut was also good, also got the fried Oreo's, Will definitely return a trip.

Hands down the best Fish Chips restaurant in Oshawa. Lots of easy parking. The inside is very clean. 3 friendly ladies were running the restaurant. I ordered 5 Halibut and chips on New Years Eve and it didn’t disappoint! I’d give it a 10 star but 5 star is all Google will allow me to give. I will return and I recommend to all! Thank you.

Schooners has always had the best halibut and chips. We have been going here for many years. The owner is amazing!
