Santa Maria - Osani

In 1774 Calvi built the church dedicated to Sainte Marie to meet the needs of a growing population. Its construction was completed in the late nineteenth century. Baroque style, painted in pink and beige, it is located in the Lower Town, its view opens on Clemenceau Street. The building was classified as historical monuments in 1981.

Very beautiful church inside as well as its very colorful exterior, very Mediterranean. The colors are beautiful and give an extra charm to this church not like others. The interior is also sublime, we have taken full eyes. The visit is done quickly, we recommend it if you are on Calvi. Cordialement, French

Beautiful little original church for its hexagonal plan and radiating chapels.

Colored outside this church is located at the foot of the citadel glued to the old buildings. The inside is sober. We can light a lampion to various saints and the virgin of course. A beautiful Romanesque church.
