The Kicking Donkey - Ormskirk

My wife and I loved our Friday night dinner at the kicking donkey. Service, food, drink and company was spot on. Will come again! Loved it

Great pub. Great food. Great staff. Noisy bar, not condusive to eating. Will return.

Lovely dog friendly pub. Food very tasty and of a high standard. Staff friendly and efficient.

Loved it here although it us a little on the expensive side. Though only negative was the seafood linguine which was very nice put the fennel in it was very overpowering which took away the taste of other flavours in it.

Very pleasantly surprised… great roast and full plate too. Deserts also very good, as was service… only thing we didn’t like was the red cabbage, heard the ladies next door (local) asked for it not on their plate as chef adds star anise… I love red cabbage but I think looking at customer plates, she/he should review as this isn’t liked by everyone. But apart from that excellent!
