La Grange - Ormont-Dessus

Another delicious meal from Giovanni and his family team. Lovely restaurant I either the winter or the summer. Looking forward to relaxing in the garden in the sunshine in the summer

Excellent service by staff and the warm hospitality of owner Giovani. The trendy upscale aesthetic is a pleasant break from the otherwise exclusively Swiss restaurant set.We dined here twice as a family of four, very pleased on both occasions. The wine (Italian of course) was quite good and reasonably priced for the quality.The menu is comprised of a few pairings of pasta with mains, along with pairing suggestions. Homemade venison tagliatelle followed by a perfectly cooked filet of beef, by example. If you require an extensive menu, or have picky eaters in your party, this may not be the best restaurant choice. Personally I like a small menu, which is seasonal and changes every few weeks. Desserts also lovely.My only very minor nitpic is that the order is input directly into an iPad... It just takes a bit of the romance out of the experience with this invasion of technology at the dining table. Over the course of two dinners, I feel quite comfortable in recommending this restaurant to anyone looking for a chic fine dining experience in the greater Les Diablerets region.

The service was terrible. We reserved a seat a long time ago and we asked for a seat inside. When we arrived it turned out that there were no seats. They tries to seat us in the waiting area. It was absolutely pathetic. 0/10 wouldn't come again.

Excellent service Attentive and polite service. Fresh quality ingredients used to create inventive cuisine. A gentle relaxed and special ambience.

We experienced a lovely evening in La Grange. Unlike many other restaurants in the area which have standard 'mountain menus', La Grange offers typical Italian food of very high quality. We enjoyed taking the time to have 5 courses with lovely wines. We found the owner to be very accommodating and he took time to speak with us, particularly about the food and wine. The atmosphere was relaxed, warm and friendly, with the staff being very attentive. It was a meal that we thoroughly enjoyed and rate as very good value for money.
