Great drinks options. the seafoods were ridiculously good! scallop, calamari and sampler tower are fantastic ways to start their flesh. the crawling claws, garnel crawling legs were all humble. when you're done with your salate coming out. I feel like they're falling a half-head on their dish that was delicious. finally your main court comes out. not many could end it because the portions are exactly right, but all that came before it fills them. oh yes. the Chesebrot was great, so don't try to overfill it. great eating experience here! our table was completely tied away from the live musician who plays the bar.
Gott, this place is phenomenal! first line, order to place in allis section. she is a fantastic server, knows her menu forward and backwards and has a great rapport with her tables. everything she recommended was on site when we asked for certain articles, she was incredibly honest and never messed with us. we had the sea fruit tower, oyster on the half-shell, broccoli au gratin, garlic kartoffel, crab cake, filet mignon, crab claws and trigger fish. the blueberry mojito was delicious. to dessert we grilled in piña colada cake and wrench limette cake. I guess that was the best I had for a long time. thanks to johnnie’s hideaway for a fantastic evening!
Had reservations for Valentine's Day and sat at exactly 18:30. our server, karah (I think) was wonderful. she was very knowledgeable about the menu and in us often when we dined to make sure we had everything we needed. the food was great as always! steak was tender and the hard of the fish was excellent. loves the fried garnels, fried lobsters, the incredibly delicate fried white fish and the frit! the house salad (not shown) is unique with beet, shrimp beans, olive, romaine, and served in a light vinaiigrette, then served over a pot of the south-style kartoffel salad. oh, and her garlic bread is amazing! I could have eaten alone!
Very good fresh seafood allegedly steak) restaurant in cross roads of lake buena vista. we had a beautiful sea view table away from the bar calmer). rob had alaskan red king crab super; I had a tiger fish / crab meet special super. the house salads were very nice with kartoffel salad hidden under lightly dressed greens. no place to dessert!
Johnnie’s Hideaway is one of those restaurants that gives the illusion of being fancy without being too pretentious. This restaurant is known for steaks and seafood and they do both perfectly. You start off your meal with great service that is that perfect balance of friendly and formal. Some house made pickles are dropped off at your table with the drinks and then an amazing garlic rosemary cheese bread fresh out of the oven. Their house salad is a bizarre mish mash of stuff but it works and then you have table side service for your awesomely prepared entrees. They deliver most items on a trolly which just ads to the experience much more than a giant tray. Deserts are also amazing and worth trying. I can’t wait to go back to Johnnies. I love the atmosphere, food and experience.
