Was very fast sitting like a card son eating beautiful mine was cold my son celebrates his 21 had a splash drink they put it in a glass that she was $6 only for the normally the manager comes in but this time did not pay over $60 for 1 meal, since my was cold not happy

Kids loved it. Great food and service. Servers play trivia with you about Forrest Gump. Kids wanted to go there every night.

Forrest Gump is one of my all time favorite movies and I have not eaten at Bubba Gump Shrimp until now! I was so hoping to put it on the shelf right next to the movie and IT DIDN’T HAPPEN by a long shot! The restaurant and atmosphere is nice and everything about the movie is everywhere which is cool. Now, this is where this restaurant in particular gets a 1! I am hoping that this particular restaurant is an abnormality but everyone else can speak to that. I can only speak to this restaurant. First off, the food was average, so not bad but not anything to write home about. The Bourbon St. Mahi Mahi Shrimp Combo was a disaster! The portion size for a $23.99 meal is absolutely the worst I have ever had. I found not one but two hairs in my food and the Mahi Mahi was over cooked. Yes, when it rains it pours! We waited for an hour to be seated which is fine but then our waiter took our drink order and we waited another 18 minutes before our drinks came and that was after we asked for them. So, the service was not great and probably the number 2 reason I am rating this restaurant a 1. Then we got our bill and it had a suggested gratuity and I missed the word suggested. Yes, I make mistakes too. I asked the waiter about it and he had no clue it was suggested but that it was part of the bill. Once he returned, he pointed out that it was suggested. Personally, I think a good waiter/waitress would know if it was suggested or not. Anyway, Forrest Gump is still one of my all time favorite movies but Bubba Gump Shrimp is not! At least this location!

It’s a fun place. The seafood is good. It’s pretty much like Red lobster just with some dishes that are southern-ish. Mostly fried seafood, a lot of buttery fried things, Which I won’t complain about ever. Typical bar drinks and a gift shop to say you were here. It’s a more of a yea I’ve been there type of experience over the food. The Cajun peel and eat shrimp were pretty good though.

Excellent visit to Bubba Gumps after a visit to Universal Studios. The service was exceptional and the food amazing. Kelly who served us was particularly good and made some great recommendations. Everything we had was delicious and a great vibe in the restaurant. Would definitely recommend you try the cocktails and they come with a free souvenir glass that you can take home with you afterwards!
