Murphy's On The Green - Orland Park

Had my Aunt's wedding reception here. Very nice ambience. Food was delicious, but took a little longer than expected. I ain't trippin though. Service was very friendly and gave out chicken strips early for the starving kids.

Went here for their filet deal. We didn't know you needed a reservation, so we ended up sitting at the bar. We were not really sure what to expect, but the food came out quick and it was surprisingly great. Steaks were cooked to order and everything tasted wonderful. The chef came out to make sure we were happy with the temperature of the steaks. Our server was very friendly. The only criticisms we have is that the silver haired lady behind the bar seemed like she was having a really bad day and the slots players were very rowdy. It's slots, guys, calm down, other people shouldn't hear you talk about getting escorts and cheating on your wives. In case their wives read this, I don't know if they actually did it, but they kicked the idea around for awhile, good luck!

I read a couple of posts from friends going to Murphys On The Green located in Palos Country Club and they gave it a thumbs up. So my husband and I invited two other couples and went last Sat Night. I agree! We had a wonderful evening there. We all had the special which was 2 filet dinners for $25 with potato and veggie) We also ordered a flat bread appetizer and some had soup or salad. Good drinks, excellent service, and nice atmosphere. And one thing you don't necessarily notice unless its loud, is that you can actually hear each other talk! We had so much good fun we stopped at the bar on out way out and had a last last! The staff was friendly and warm and I would definitely go back. The only thing I would recommend to them is more import beer options. Treat yourself and support a new small business! Murphys gets a thumbs up!

This is an intimate bar and restaurant. We've been here several times. Recently we had the 2 for $25.00 filet, choice of potato and green bean vegetable. It was very reasonably priced and a great meal. We met some really nice folks from the community and stayed awhile to listen to the band. We will definitely be returning. Very nice bar to go to before the game. Get there early it does fill up quick. Had a couple beers before the game. Looks kind of old and run down from the outside but lots of cubs memorbilia on the inside.
