Bidrage med feedbackAn actually Spanish Food Experience within a highly multi cultural area. We have staying in the area most years since 2005, as a young couple, family and now slightly older family, last night we got a Date night (thanks to grandparents(their villa we stay in . So it is another try to find a Spanish within walking distance and we finally found one. Yes it is within the Go Kart Complex, if you don’t like the noise opt to sit inside and you hardly notice, plus the air con in the heat is better anyway. (Worth booking to guarantee this . We went early as we didn’t book anywhere, we actually got the 1st table of the night and quickly opted for the set menu. It was amazing every course. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. The waiter that served us was great and spoke fluent English, German, French and of course Spanish which for us still struggling to string a Spanish sentence together is super impressive. Because it was quiet with the early tables we were also invited to see the paella being cooked which is an experience in itself which is beyond impressive (and very hot . We will be back with the kids (maybe sit outside next week. We were so happy. I’m gutted that is has taken us so long to find this restaurant.
Went for lunch , food was excellent , if you want proper Spanish paella this is the place to try , everything was excellent , great service by Miguel , he couldn’t do enough for us ,
We noted this place because we are staying nearby and had seen it as we drove by. We thought it was a cafe type place serving paella. We had never had proper paella so we're keen to try. When we arrived we found not a cafe but a really nice restaurant. The two waiters were very professional and friendly. One even ushered me and my daughter into the kitchen for a brief look as we watched through the window. The food was fabulous and the view enjoyable. There is a go kart track next but, in truth we didn't really notice it. This is a great restaurant and I'd happily go back.
We visited on Valentines Day after driving past for some time when it has looked like it has been closed. It is next to the Go Karts on N332. There was a Valentines' menu which looked lovely but we weren't hungry enough so went for the paella which we shared between the two of us. We had the chicken and vegetable one which was delicious. You could smell the charcoal and also taste the difference that the fire cooking made. Desserts are also very good.....and homemade. I would also recommend the house red wine which was reasonably priced. The restaurant itself is upmarket and cloth tablecloths and napkins were spotlessly clean. Being Valentines Day, the tables were decorated with little hearts which I thought was a nice touch and added to the ambience. The waiter was friendly and efficient. An all-round wonderful meal and experience and we will be back for more.
We have eaten at the sister restaurant at Orihuela Costa and always had a delicious meal. We hoped that this restaurant was going to be just as good. In fact it was better the inside decor gave a luxurious feel. The staff were fantastic special mention to Salah who was professional, friendly and very helpful nothing was too much trouble for him). We had the set menu which provided 5 courses and coffee. Amazing food good to perfection at a very good price. We will be definitely coming back to sample some more great food.
