Mcmenamins Rock Creek Tavern - Oregon

I've been here dozens of times over the years and the quality has gone from average to completely inedible. I'm not a picky eater, but I always struggle to find just one thing on the menu that I can enjoy. Avoid the pulled pork at all costs. Check for missing items if you do takeout too. The worst food I've paid for at a restaurant.

Went to dinner with the GF and some friends, got there around 730 and pretty quicketly ordered drinks and food about 740 if not sooner I finished an entire flight seen 2 other groups come, seat eat and leave asked where our food was server rushed to kitchen came back saying 4 orders ahead, mind you we ordered burgers and sandwiches nothing complex food finally came out near 9 o clock no apologies from server for wait and 2 of our burgers were very pink quite sure our server forgot to put our ord … – show

The so called Brewmaster platter was a Plate with 2 small sausages, a cup of cheese and a plain garden salad....very disappointing portions for $23.00 the chowder was super watery. I wont order either of those items again.

Standard McMenamins fare. But the location is unique. It's in a suburban/rural neighborhood and has served as a meeting place for locals for many years. The aesthetics match the purpose. Several seating options including inside by the wood stove, at the bar, upstairs, patio, or balcony. Each seating location has it's own feel. Also, they have a shuffleboard table upstairs that is legit sand and all. Well worth a journey to meet up with friends, and enjoy some good food, drinks, and atmosphere.

Love the building. Food is good too. Great service.
