Bidrage med feedbackWe walked for hours through the Muenster Valley to get to this restaurant in the North Vosges Regional Park (you can drive there too), and a feast awaited us! (Reservations recommended.) As with all of the fermes auberges (farm inns), all of the food is produced locally (except coffee and chocolate). We ate for hours, course after course, lamb pot pie, beer with bitters, wine, a zucchini-potato soup, shredded fennel bulb, and rich blueberry sorbet. Hikers can eat "wild" alpine blueberries along the path. The long tables and wall decorations will make you think you are in Beowulf's Hrothgar, though the decorations are cowbells not swords. This restaurant was the peak experience of one of the best days of my life.
