Tulip - Oranjestad

Tulips has great food at reasonable prices! We had dinner twice at Tulips during our vacation and both times the food was Excellent! This place is truly a hidden gem! The service was really good and the staff is very friendly.

Jamician Seafood Soip was outstanding! My husband had the Lasagna and that too was over the top. Would highly recommend

Ambiance was nice. We used OpenTable but when we arrived, not only was there no one to greet us, when they finally acknowledged us at the bar, they looked at their reservations and they didn’t seem to have us listed. We sat down and it’s Aruba so a bit breezy. We didn’t really have a set waiter, all there were randomly coming over. Wife ordered the mahi-mahi with salad and I ordered the macadamia nut encrusted grouper. When it arrived, they had made her a mahi-mahi sandwich. They took it back. My grouper tasted like a large macadamia nut without grouper. When her’s arrived (very quickly) it was flash cooked and over cooked. We had mojitos which were ok but when the waiter came over to ask how we liked our dinner we said ummm ok, he asked if we wanted another drink we said yes and before asking if we wanted something different he quickly walked away and brought us two more mojitos. Honestly it was the worst dinner we’d had in a long time. Disappointing. We luckily had Trident gum and actually went to Cinnabon for dessert/dinner. Fraction of the cost and MUCH better flavor.

The food was excellent. Catered very well to gluten-free needs. Very personable waiter was fun to be with. Kevin. Made a recommendation to some people just arriving walking down the street they walked right in hopefully they were as pleased as we were. Great value
