Mama's Kountry Kooking - Orangeburg

Just a random stop a few miles from the highway. We were looking for a non-chain, not fast food breakfast. Super nice waitress and very good house cooked breakfast (for the same price you pay at McD's). Meets all our hopes and expectations while he is tired and hungry on a long journey.

For a little mother and pop place it was an amazing experience. The food was great and the prices were also. I recommend this place for a great breakfast.

I stopped here twice while I went through town. Probably your best breakfast option for 30 miles in any direction. Good food and prices. Friendly staff.

I’ve been eating lunch at Mamas for many years when working in Orangeburg. It’s always full of locals, enjoying good home cooking, and each other. Sometimes it’s nice to go to a place that doesn’t change much through the years.
