Golden Bowl Chinese Restaurant - Orange

I strongly disagree with some of the negative reviews I have read about this restaurant. Even though I live near China Town in Sydney and have access to some of the best authentic Chinese cuisine, I have missed the old-school Australian Chinese food that was popular decades ago. This restaurant offered a mix of traditional Chinese dishes and more Westernized options, and we were eager to try classics like crispy beef, lemon chicken, and satay chicken. We were not disappointed - the food was superb and brought back nostalgic memories of the flavors we had been craving. From the charming doorbell at the entrance to the quirky decor inside, including a fake fish tank, everything about our dining experience was delightful. We could not find a single fault with the food or service. We have already decided that every time we visit or pass through Orange, we will make sure to stop by the New Golden Bowl Chinese Restaurant. We wish the restaurant all the success it deserves.

Was such a cool quirky atmosphere. Definitely a cool talking point and every kid who walked in loved the piano walkway. The food was great and served in the coolest dishes. Would definitely visit again

The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes on their menu and features authentic, delicious options with a traditional touch. The kitchen and service are efficient and the owners are very friendly. I will definitely return next time I am in Orange. I also love the playful decorations throughout the restaurant, making it a great spot for young families.

This is one unique place for sure! It 's like a dollar shop exploded in here and they decided to turn it into a quirky Chinese restaurant. My friends and I were quite overwhelmed at first, but actually enjoyed ourselves. Loved walking on the piano mat and the doorbell that says ' 'you 're welcome ' every time someone walks in or out. Loved the dishes shaped like a cow, a pig, a shellfish, a chicken and most of all the guard dog wine holder haha! The food was alight, the service was lovely, so a great experience overall. Take-away seems to be the mainstay, but I urge the people of Orange to come and dine here. It 's an experience you won 't forget lol!

Eating at this restaurant was quite possibly the best choice I've ever made. The food was amazing and the staff were wonderful. The atmosphere was incredible, even better than Disneyland. This place is where dreams come true. It elevated my mood and made me even happier. Every part of my experience was absolutely delightful. The atmosphere was exactly what I didn't realize I needed. It filled me with happiness and I left feeling even better than when I arrived.
