Nero's Steak & Meeresfruchte

I was unhappy to visit this place on a very cold Sunday. We were a big group of 10 and there were only a few other people: this caught me a little because the place looked empty and depressing. The steaks were okay, not superlative... but okay, they're coming on a hot stone to keep boiling them to order. The local wine was under expectations. The area is beautiful, overlooking Oppenheim and next to the vineyards. Not the best steak in the region, but worth a visit when you go through Oppenheim, beautiful village.

I want to return to Nero when it is summer, so I can enjoy what must be an excellent view. My partner and I were brought here by friends when we visited them in early December. The food was just fabulous. Service was... excellent and the wine was very good. On a cold evening the restaurant itself was warm, but the outer rooms were less so. I look forward to a return trip next time in the Rhine Valley.

We went there as a big family and it was very nice. The Rumpsteak is worth a try. Very friendly service.

Sehr leckere Steaks und tolle Beilagen. Auch die Aussicht auf der großen Terrasse war super. Werden sicher bald wieder kommen.

Als erstes besticht die lage....sensationeller blickder service super freundlich und schnellwie schon einige vorredner schrieben... das salatbuffet wirkt wie dosenfutter und ist wirklich nichts besonderesda kommt der rest dann deutlich besser dahersteaks auf heißem stein - richtig richtig gutdie salate von der karte - lecker und auch optisch prima angerichtetsuper zartes saftiges schnitzel - perfektdie hauseigene steaksauce ist auch zu empfehlennebenbei prima geeignet für familienfeiern und große geschäftsessenwir werden bestimmt dort noch einmal auftauchen
