Pedro's Tacos Tequila - Opelousas

Only got 2 stars cause the food was decent and the staff really did try but every time I turned around it was lack luster…. Heard thru one of the employees that the new management is at faultI sat at the bar and unfortunately for me the management thinks there’s no need for a bartender so the waitress that’s busy waiting tables has to come tend to the bar in betweenThe restaurant is centered around the bar because even the tables are ordering drinks…those poor women are being ran like dogs

Since new management has taken over, food has gone downhill. Won't be coming back anytime soon. Yes that is grease sitting in plate.

Was told my take out order would be ready in 12 minutes. Got to the restaurant and paid for my order(after being ignored for about 5 minutes-estimate). Waited another 20 minutes for a young lady to come out and tell me it would be another 6-7 minutes. Waited another 8 minutes. Grant it, I had to wait for a waitress to pass by to ask if my paid food was ready. She looked confused. Finally the hostess (I guess that’s who she was) came out with my food and asked me if I paid. I said ma’am, I paid you. I politely asked for a refund. Was told they could void the transaction and if the money wasn’t back in my account, to come back in 2-3 days. Spent a whole hour in that restaurant.Ok….I tell you this much, I will never step one foot back in that establishment.

Come on guys. I wanted to eat and not spend all night waiting. I was getting my meal before I got my drinks. Then I had to go to the bar tender to finally get my beer. The food was not that good and they got my order wrong.

It used to eat the favorite place of my family and have family time. since new management came in the fantastic waiting staff who know us with names are no longer there and it takes forever to wait and this service is terrible. the food was always so fresh, but the last couple of times we went to eat delicious as bagged precooked meat, but nevertheless the price has doubled. the last time the manager waited for us, he got our order completely wrong. he never apologised and never corrected the ticket, so when we said something, he sent a girl who doesn't speak English to our table and never came back, which tells me he's a crook and tries to cheat people. these renovations will not prevent people from running away when they continue to offer terrible service and bad quality food.
