La Cantina Opelika

Great margaritas! Guacamole fajitas and street corn delicious.

This was the second time I've been to La Cantina and both times the food and service were great. We had a large group this time and they accommodated us perfectly. The table was already set up when we got there. Our server Michael was fantastic. Very attentive and accommodating. The only thing is I wish they'd have pitchers of margaritas :

This is my new favorite restaurant! I’ve been there three times in the last month and a half!

I like this restaurant, especially when you can sit outside on deck in the spring and Fall, or when weather is nice. Food is always good. Great options for taco’s. This evening the bar service was really slow. Took a long time for a margarita. It was busy and they were backed up, but you would like to get that drink in early. Otherwise a nice spot for a casual meal.

This was our second time dining and let me start by saying this is not your usual Tex-mex Cantina. The menu is fresh and modern with farm fresh to table cuts of beef from the owners’ Black Angus Cattle Ranch up the road. My husband and I are excited to go back, we have both tried several different dishes and been more than beyond pleased with the quality of ingredients, presentation and plating; thus, we look forward to trying new dishes on our return. Take your time, order an appetizer, savor your entree, enjoy the outside patio and make sure to save room for dessert!
