Bidrage med feedbackThese guys just did a job for my job. WO You are worth every penny. The chicken is so juicy and has the right amount of Chary. The BBQ pulled pork was so perfectly seasoned and tender with the crispy caramelized calciners. Makkaroni and cheese was creamy and so good All sides are great. - Yeah.
I found this restaurant to be a solid choice for the area. I tried the pulled pork, onion rings, and cornbread. The pulled pork was well-balanced and flavorful—perfectly seasoned, with a hint of citrus, rich savoriness, and just a touch of sweetness. I really enjoyed it. The onion rings were crispy and not overly salty, which I appreciated since I’m a fan of crispy textures. However, I would recommend skipping the cornbread; I probably should have opted for a regular dinner roll instead, as it would have complemented the pulled pork nicely. Overall, it was a good experience, though nothing too extraordinary. It’s a nice spot for a family dinner or if you’re craving some American comfort food.
I stopped by the restaurant on my way home from Albany in the afternoon. I called from the street to place an order for a few half portions to take with me. When I arrived twenty minutes later, I was greeted with a bag full of delicious food. I hadn't visited in a long time, but it was just as good as I remembered. I really appreciate a place that maintains its quality for decades. Plus, the price for the half portions is fantastic—a great value for your money!
We were in town for an event at a local college and decided to try Brooks House of BBQ. It was fantastic! We ordered brisket, pulled pork, chicken, and ribs, and everything was delicious. The menu offered a variety of options, all of which looked great. The ordering system is efficient: you place your order at the window and then choose a table to sit at. A server brings your food out when it’s ready, much like at Panera. My only minor complaint is that I would have preferred mashed potatoes instead of a baked potato. I should also mention that the BBQ sauce has a sweet and tangy flavor. I enjoyed it, but some might find the sweetness a bit much. The portions are generous, so we didn't have room for dessert, but the dessert menu looked tempting. I would definitely recommend visiting Brooks House of BBQ if you're in Oneonta!
