Mallards At The Wharf - Onancock

Food and location was good. Service was good also but got 1 started for hidden 3% surcharge for inflation . Not written on menu, not posted in restaurant, never told by anyone until I asked about it when I got the check. Hidden fee, no good. Won 't be back for that reason alone.

Fun atmosphere, great on the water location, tasty food.

We recently had our wedding rehearsal dinner at Mallards on the wharf,and it was an unforgettable experience! The food was absolutely outstanding—both the steak and mahi were cooked to perfection, and the clam linguine was loaded with clams. To top it all off, there was a fantastic band playing on the deck that everyone enjoyed. The combination of great food and live music made for a perfect evening. Thank you to the team at Mallards for making our rehearsal dinner so special!

What a nice find!!! Just left after dinner (7 of us). Everyone was very welcoming and the food was amazing!!!! The tuna poke was one of the best ones I've ever had! If you're in the area I would definitely stop!! Can't wait to come back next year!!! Thank you so much for the perfect start to vacation!!

Great little spot on the water. Building and atmosphere are fun and relaxing. Food was fresh and tasty. I sat at the bar and the bartender was friendly and helped me with information about the area. I would definitely recommend Mallards.
