The Verdict - Omaha

I get it, we're all struggling post-pandemic-shutdown. I have to admit though, I found this place woefully lacking. I attended a fundraising event here on the 16th of July along with a group of five or six other peopld. We got there around 7:30 for an 8pmevent, and wanted to get food, but there was no clear way to do so. The drink I got was hilariously overpriced and surprisinglyunderpoured. Idk if the owners are just cheap, or if the bartenders are poorly trained but $8 for a vodka red bull in a 6ozglass is outrageous. There seemed to be zero preparation for the incoming crowd of people. The dance floor wasn't handicappedaccessible, and frankly no part of this bar was accessible to somebody in a wheelchair or with any mobility aid. The entireexperience was a disappointment. In my humble opinion, if you're going to host a queer friendly event the day of the local pridecelebration, do better and cater to your audience. We ended up leaving before the event because it was an absolute disaster.Book better talent, and we might be inclined to give this place another chance.

I dropped by the verdict last night to meet a friend, the bartender was pleasant and attentive, and he made some of the best mixed drinks I have had in Omaha. The food was fast, had a taco salad and some spin dip tasted great. Thanks for the greatservice.

The food was fantastic! I only wish the person who organized my party had informed the staff in advance so they could have had an extra cook on hand. I felt sorry for the one person who had to manage the needs of two dozen guests all by themselves.

It’s a bar environment offering standard pub fare. It’s ideal for college students. The atmosphere is trendy and vibrant, appealing to a younger crowd. They offer $1 tacos and $6 margaritas. Located in the downtown area, be ready to pay for parking and plan on walking a bit.

The staff seemed more focused on singing karaoke from Hamilton and Rent than on providing service. We waited over 30 minutes for our order of nachos and fried mushrooms, which never arrived. Finally, I had to go down to the kitchen to retrieve our order myself, and by that time, the food was cold. The atmosphere was uncomfortable. I appreciate the gentleman who refunded our order, but other than that, the staff was inefficient and unhelpful.
