Tanner's Grill - Omaha

You are what you expect. Eating is good, not great, but they fill an emptiness, there are not many good choices nearby for a straight up sports bar. Television everywhere. A decent bar. They were subjected tragically at the night we stopped, but the work was done. Thanks Tanner?

Very sad this place has gone down because the food is not bad. The service is simply terrible and this is obvious by an empty bar on a Saturday night during a Huskers game. This barcrew has no interest in its customers. Nebraska game planned to start, but it is switched to another station due to overtime game to original station. You'll get it on a few tvs eventually asked for customers. We have a conversation about getting sound and that's impossible because their technique is broken, which is good, but instead of saying, hey the sound can't be switched over or something proactive you need to ask her and by asking you are obviously annoying her because her stuff is broken. Obviously, customers owe a question. At this point I try to escape. The game then moves into the original channel and the bar staff is just there as the Nebraska game is now in two versions on two channels above the bar and they are at least 30 seconds away. Nobody works there. Not good to be a sports bar. Go over the parking lot to Oscars and have a wonderful experience.

We had chicken and hamburger nachos that had no taste at all. I ordered a **** Mary and told them not to season it, I thought I'd throw it up. The first was good, the second was so bad. The bartender was really nice. And this is all I can say about it will not go back

The restaurant was quite crowded for a rainy Wednesday, but the food was decent. I ordered the Reuben Sandwich with a side of potato chips, which was lukewarm but tasty. I also ordered their almost famous ****** Mary, but unfortunately it tasted mostly of celery salt and was not very good. The waitress seemed very rushed and busy.

Scheduled a birthday party over a month ago. Called today at noon to verify and told them I would be there at 5:30 to decorate. Showed up at 5:30 and the party room was occupied. Was told very rudely that they didn't have our party down and they were short staffed. I am the most laid back person and totally understand sh$t happens. We were told we could go to the other area that was blocked off but didn't know about service. We went to the bar to order drinks but was told by the bartender we couldn't come up there to order drinks. We were ordering buckets so they wouldn't be overwhelmed. She agreed to that. In the hour and a half we were there NOBODY came to even ask if we wanted to order. They had 3 waitresses and 11 tables when we left. But still nobody came to ask if we wanted to order. We called Addy's at 147th and they said to come over. We are on the patio but the waiter is literally running inside to to get us tables! So please avoid Tanner's at all costs! Go over to Addy's where your hard earned money is appreciated. I'm sad because this is our neighborhood bar. But I will never step foot in there again! Thanks again Addy's!
