Bidrage med feedbackWas hoping to try out this restaurant when we were staying at the Hyatt Place down the street this past week. The only way to make a reservation was to call and leave a message with info including name, date, time, of people and phone . Attempted to follow exact instructions given and called 2 weeks ago. Recording stated someone would get back to me. Called 4 times on different days since no one called. No call back. Very disappointing. If this is an example of the restaurant's customer service I do not understand how they keep reservations for customers.
We enjoyed our quite Tuesday evening dinner. Despite it being Tuesday Nicolas was still pleasantly busy. This is a small family owned business, so there was a smaller staff. The food was delicious and freshly made with delicious ingredients. It was a little more pricy that I had originally thought, but the freshness of the ingredients and dish was worth the little extra cost. The tiramisu, like everything else, is homemade with a lovely spong cake instead of lady fingers.
Decent atmosphere but my food came out a little cold. Enjoyed the app we had and I tried my husbands carbonara which was really good. Will probs get those next time.
Best family owned Italian place in town.John can suggest you best wine and food.Don’t forget the homemade cake, it melts in your mouth.
Horrible treatment from owners. After waiting an hour for our food to arrive, two of the three dishes were cold. We sat there while all neighboring tables, including those that came in well after we did, were served. We told our server we were very disappointed in the timing of our meals and expected some compensation. When we walked through the dining room to pay the bill, John curtly told my husband he would take the appetizer off the bill (a basically inedible melon. My husband responded that it was not a satisfying solution. John, Nikola and additional staff immediately got aggressive. John pretended to call the police, Nikola told my husband he was rude, another staffer baselessly accused my husband are you gonna walk out with that wine glass? He offered to pay half the bill. John told him to get out. We don 't want your money. Never come back here again. We dine out frequently, in all kinds of restaurants and this was unquestionably the most inhospitable, unprofessional, mean-spirited management we have ever encountered. In addition to this review, we made sure our hotel personnel knew about our experience. John didn 't need to tell us to never return. We certainly won 't, nor will any potential future customers staying at a prominent nearby hotel.
