Delicious, healthy, and affordable spot to grab lunch on the mountain! The quinoa bowls are incredible- my favorite is the Thai peanut- super unique flavor and so yummy and healthy! The staff is always friendly and efficient, and even when the place is full they always get the food out as fast as they possibly can. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone skiing at Squaw!
Soupa is one of the few restaurants at the Village at Squaw Valley that is actually up and running (most are at the beginning stage of construction, even though they are advertised by the resort as open), however it doesn't open until 12. When check out is at 11 it's very inconvenient. It may have been delicious but I didn't get to find out.
One of the better lunch places in the village. Their sandwiches and soup are freshly made. And their menu changes sometimes to keep things even more fresh. It's a little bit away from the snow so gags to take skis off and walk through village.
Had lunch here yesterday. I felt like I was getting served by aliens dressed in human body suits (referring to the two guys working there). My credit card was not accepted because it looked like it was made of metal even though it was plastic. The guy taking my order mentioned that a similar looking card shut down their systems earlier and that mine looked similar so they would not try it. Ok, I didn 't mind paying cash. After receiving the food (ordered quinoa bowl with chickpea curry), I had received just the quinoa with undercooked root vegetables and peanut sauce on top. Tiny portion, the box was filled half way. No curry in the box. When I asked where are the chickpeas, I received the strangest answers from the two guys working there. The guy from whom I ordered told me that they don 't have chickpeas today, even though he took my order. The other guy working there had a much better suggestion, he told me he could give me some dry chickpeas. At this point, the girl working there simply walked over to the soup station, scooped a cup of the chickpea curry and handed it to me. She appeared to know what she was doing. Not sure why they needed the other two guys there. Weird experience. Probably better service during winter.
