Bidrage med feedbackDon Juan is an exceptional Mexican restaurant. The system is clean, cool and well spaced. You have options for restaurant and bar view. Sitting includes both tables and stands that have enough space around them that you are not against the neighboring table. The setup also had sound paneling on the ceiling that helps and makes the noise level and makes it so that you can hear the people on your table well and easily hear the background music giving you the illusion of privacy. On a wall is a glass covered section where you can even observe how the chefs we make the food. When we sit at our table, we get homemade chips and salsa, water and menus. The menu had many marked options for gluten-free foods as well as marked when things were cooked in peanut oil. When I came to order, I ordered steak nachos while my husband ordered a chicken wet burrito. For his wet burrito they have a range of different sauces and they offered a sampling of them so that he could try them. expensive for quantity and quality. Both dishes were well seasoned and tasty.
Was a little off, but then we had a very informative sweet waitress. You will be sample sauces so you can make a sound decision. Two of us eating the wet Burrito Ann's were still taking residues home. Absolutely impressed.
We had great service. We loved the range of different Salsas that were perfectly described by or waiter. Happy Hour Menu is brilliant and definitely back! Habanero salsa is hot but dang good!
OH YES, close to authentic Mexican foods, you will find in Washington, at least that I have previously found beside streets taco truck. Starting from the chips, they had a large amount of crispy, they were not greasy, but dried well from the frit and the salsa was wonderful. I am used to chunky salsa these days, but it was definitely a welcome change to not have chunk salsa. I got a wet burrito, and it was packed with GOODNESS, they do not use salad as a filler-dank goddess, instead she uses white onions and Zilantro, which was amazing! Spiciness is definitely comparable to Mexican spices, as the server said. To the south in California with authentic food at every corner of my house I wanted the taste back to my life. But living in Washington is hard to come. The taste of their sauce was remarkable, with the complex but simple taste. I say that because it 'complex that it emulsifies it so well I could 't identify the ingredients, but simply enough that it came together as a uniform and amazing aroma that was both citrus-y and spicy. Each ingredient inside the Burritos was fantastic and spiced/picked, especially perfecting the meat. The cheese roasted on the outside was also perfect. It was well paired with her microbrow IPA 's. The atmosphere inside was wonderful. A beautiful large room and while it was full of people, it left much elbow space as you feel in your own room. The rugged woodcuts, which fed every inch from the inside to medium dimmed lighting, ensured a cool and relaxing environment. In the middle of winter it felt more like the end of a long summer day. What I usually seek. The place was not excessively loud, and the servers were also friendly. The price-performance ratio was also fantastic. I can usually eat a lot of food, but I was halfway through. I have to say that it was the best restaurant experience I had in the Olympia area. I don't doubt it.
Superbly refreshing, authentic and uniquely personal-styled South of the border cuisine. Best guacamole salad side dish for ten bucks ever. House made chips. Full bar, happy hour, at least 5 salsas make this delightful place worth the drive. Get off the beaten track of boring food... You won't find these flavors anywhere else. Bravo to the owner, chef and staff. I'm coming back!
