Basilico - Olympia

Our Favorite spot in Olympia for years authentic Italian with local fresh ingredients, fantastic wine the owner is a great Host and has made fantastic food in Europe Asia and now we are lucky to have him in Olympia!! Bonus and they have fantastic GF menu including yummy bread!

Meh..... Not too shabby for this kind of joint. Staff is friendly to a point, but mostly professional is as professional does, and they 're a reflection of that mentality. (Nothing wrong with it in my opinion) Most of their items are 'handmade ' or 'homemade ' and the flavor is there, but...something is lacking... I don 't know what it is... ambience? I couldn 't put my finger quite on it but something was off. Plan on spending some serious cash-money if you 're going to be drinking. Two of us, coffee 's all around, one dessert, main courses, apps and multiple beers for two cost 125.00 without tip.

Basilico has better food than most places I've traveled to in Italy! It's a warm and welcoming environment perfect for anniversaries.
