Ok place to eat not the best Mexican food in the area but not the worst either

We've eaten here a couple times while traveling through southern Illinois for pleasure. The food is good and the portions are adequate. Our problem was with the bill and ordering from the web menu. I went into the restaurant with a small list of menu items. The cashier didn't consult the menu and I didn't have prices in front of me. I paid the bill thinking it was much higher than I expected and returned to our motel, where I discovered I was considerably overcharged. I returned to the restaurant and the cashier, somewhat embarrassed, refunded the overcharge amount. Just be sure to check prices and confirm that you're being charged the menu prices.

We came in with a big group and they gave us good service. Seemed like the portions were smaller than I was used to, but the prices were maybe a bit lower also.

Really great food. The server was also personable and polite.

This is your typical Mexican restaurant with standard Mexican fare. It's decorated with that kitsch you see in so many Mexican restaurants. The food is decent though and the service was quick.
