Nice campsite with a great pool. Reception was very friendly. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities were not that clean, there were no toilet seats and no toilet paper.
We love this little corner of Paradise. It's the second time we've been here this year... yet we're not coming from far (Ajaccio
We made stage with our caravan for a few nights at Vigna Maggiore campsite in Olmeto last September. We chose this campsite because it seemed easy to access and well located relative to the different sites we wanted to discover. Easy access is actually with an entry on the T40. On the other hand, once in the campsite, it is best to walk to find where camping pitches are so that we do not find ourselves in a deadlock. Friendly house but information not always accurate. The camping area where we were asked to settle has recently been arranged and the many trees that have been planted are still too young to give shade. Fortunately, we were at the end of the season, we were able to install the caravan under the only tree worthy of this sector name. The terrain being slightly inclined, the manoeuvre was not easy. Without the caravan, we wouldn't have succeeded. Many water points and electrical terminals nearby. The pitches are not well delimited but we had a lot of space around us because in this field we were the only ones. Nearby, a new health block is pretty well maintained. It is a very quiet campsite, few campers, lots of mobile homes rentals. We enjoyed the pool bar where the view of the Gulf of Valinco is very beautiful. It was nice to settle there at the end of the day, after our visits. If you don't want to stay on the beach, it can be the best campsite to visit this little corner of Corsica. For us, it was a good base to visit the site of Filitosa, walk to the tower of Campomoro, visit Sartène and discover the beach of Porto Pollo. We only put three stars, it's a weak evaluation, 3.5 seems fairer.
Beautiful campsite very well maintained. The small swimming pool with waterfall is heated. There's another huge pool next door. In this season, we did not fight to get a transat, on the contrary. Besides, the time was very good to swim. You can easily reach the small beaches next to, by car. The reception was very good and the staff listened. The restaurant and the campground grocery store have been closed but many shops are nearby. We nicknamed our 'halloween' cottage because of the spiders very present in this season. I survived. It makes us remember what we're doing today.
