Bidrage med feedbackAnother delicious meal! This is the second time we dined at the Beechwood and we enjoyed our entrees...chicken piccata and shrimp scampi pappardelle.
I ordered the salmon and my husband ordered the chicken piccata. Both dishes were absolutely smothered in their respective sauces, so much so that you couldn't taste any of the meat or vegetables. All you tasted was sauce. Our waiter seemed very impatient to get us in and out of there, as he kept coming back every minute asking us to order even though we were clearly in a very serious conversation. Our drinks had not even come out yet before he was pushing us to order our food. Would not recommend anybody going back there.
I had a birthday party for my husband, and it was spectacular! Everything was great...from the food to the service and the ambience! Everyone we spoke to afterwards could not say enough about what fun they had as well as the accommodations! More that 20 people told us it was the best party they had ever been to! I can't say enough good things about our experience!Thanks to the staff and chef for an awesome time! I would recommend this restaurant to everyone!
Food 5Service 5Ambiance 5Local 's go back if you haven 't been in a while. You won 't be sorry. I don 't give 5 star 's very lightly. However, for the medium low prices you can 't get better and I give it a 5+.We were in Oldsmar area visiting family and friends for only 4 nights. We stayed nearby and on our first night, just the two of us went to dinner. We chose this restaurant for a change of pace and like to support local owners as much as possible.Fish and Chips: I am not sure that I would call this plate Fish and Chips but it was delicious. I don 't remember the type of fish filet but it was seasoned and fried perfect that was served hot in a beautiful. The french fries were seasoned with white truffle were a fantastic. It also came with a with a creamy Coleslaw, that was perfect match with the fish. I would order this same plate the next day if we went. It was that good! Everything was simply perfect.Lemon Garlic Shrimp Pasta: My wife 's scampi was fantastic too. The pasta was cooked al-dente with a white creamy alfredo-like sauce with lemon that was great. The shrimp was pan seared, tender and cooked to perfection!Tuna Roll: Presentation was a 5 star, however the taste was a just OK. The tuna was fresh but the entire bite was strangely mushy. The taste was good but the texture was not right. I would give it an overall 3.5 or maybe a 4 because I want to remember it better than it was.Dessert: We also ordered a Flourless Chocolate Tarte Pie. Unfortunately, I didn 't get a picture as my wife attacked it! The chocolate pie was covered with a rich melted chocolate sauce and striped with a layer of strawberry sauce. All I can say is that my wife kept pushing me to go back the next day even if it was just for the pie. In fact, she told our server bartender that she was coming back the next day. She really meant it but we ran out of time. TRY IT...YOU WILL LOVE IT.We visited on a Thursday evening about 7pm, and decided to sit at the full-service bar. The bar is decorated very nice that catches your eyes when you walk in. We don 't normally sit at the bar but we loved the feel of the bar. To top it off the bartenders were 5 star themselves. Seriously, great personalities even though they were very busy they were genuine and made us feel welcome. We each only had one drink but that didn 't matter to them.We talked to our friends and family about this restaurant and no one had eaten there since it first opened. No one had great things to say about their visit. However, my sister who is a chef herself, heard that they made changes either the chef or new management, she wasn 't sure. Anyway whatever they did...really worked. I recommend if you haven 't been there lately then go back! PS; for one or two, I suggest the bar!
We always have a great time at this restaurant. The entire staff is always in a good mood and helpful!
