Really poor customer service, food not as advertised. pizza not hot, too spicy, meet stringy and dry, couldn't eat the food. spoke to the chef and he didn't care, waste of money,
Our visit to the restaurant had three issues. Firstly, the lack of hygiene - most staff were not wearing gloves while handling food after touching money and raw meat. This is concerning and they should consider taking a course in basic food hygiene and COVID awareness. Secondly, the contactless machine was not working, and they only accepted cash. This resulted in needing to go to a nearby garage to withdraw cash, with a charge of £1.50. When we asked for a discount on our large order due to this inconvenience, we were completely ignored. Lastly, while the quality of the food was good, their chilli sauce was tasteless compared to other places.
The owner doesn't care if customers follow the covid 19 guidelines. He allows more then 7 people in at once, most don't wear masks and never get challenged by staff. I witnessed it a number of times, when you ask the staff they don't like it. Also some of the staff don't wear masks themselves. I ordered the food over the phone and they said 10/15mins. I got there on time and the food was not ready. The place was empty with no other customers when I got there. Staff said few more minutes. Therefore, I waited outside in the cold a further 15 minutes, as it states on the door you must wear a mask in the premises and wait outside once order placed. A staff member came over and asked me whats my order twice, during this time they now had 7 other customers inside waiting with no masks on and with no social distancing. Eventhough they came after me they got their orders before me. The owner said if I don't like it I should go somewhere else, as I complained to the Manager at a previous visit due to a lack of social distancing and no masks worn on their premises. As a business it is their responsibility to protect customers and staff, and follow covid19 guidelines. He was not happy to be challenged he started to get loud and rude. Instead of apologising for making me wait the arrogant rude guy told me to go somewhere else because he doesn't like to be challenged. They need to be reported to local authorities for not complying with covid19 guidelines and management need customer service training. Just because they are busy they don't seem care about their customer's. I would like to point out that I am a regular customer and won't be going there again. I am glad their business is doing well and Insha'Allah it continues to do so. However, they need to be reminded to remain humble and stop being arrogant. (I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE)
Usual very good fast food. Fresh crisp salad, well cooked food, very tasty fast food. Ordered from here for delivery a few times now and on last 3 occasions the food has arrived late. I know accidents happen etc etc but I had to call 4 times and each time was reassured it was around the corner.... which corner you may ask.... from the first call to enquire how long they would be after we had already waited one and a half hours to actually receiving the food was just short of 2 and a half hours. Must have been driving round a few corners.... quite a few. Great food as per usual and it was hot when it arrived. I would much rather you be honest and just say we are behind or driver got lost etc than say round the corner or your delivery is next. That just makes it worse. If you want anything from here best thing to do is order and collect. Do not use the delivery service. It’s getting worse.
