Bengal Brasserie - Oldham

The food was delicious and exactly as I requested: authentic and spicy, just like in Pakistan. I had informed the staff beforehand that I am a curry connoisseur and prefer my dishes to be very flavorful. The food was outstanding and the son of the owner, who was serving, was courteous and attentive. The only downside was the beer selection - the Tiger Lager was both pricey and not very fizzy. However, this small inconvenience won't stop me from returning for another meal soon. I would rate my experience an 8 out of 10.

We visited the Bengal Brassiere at weekend, as we haven't been since Covid. Both of our curries were simply delicious, its the best curry i have had by far. I don't like it too spicy and they prepare my curry to my liking. My partner likes a hot curry and he also loved his meal. The staff are all brilliant here and we have never had a bad service.

The front of house staff at this restaurant are excellent, but when it comes to handling criticism about the food, they seem overwhelmed. This is my second visit in a week, and unfortunately, both times I was disappointed. During my first visit, I ordered a chicken jalfrezi which lacked spices. Despite bringing it to the waiter's attention, the dish remained bland. Today, I tried the lamb jalfrezi hoping for a tastier experience, but it was only slightly spicier. I was hoping for more heat from bird's eye chillies rather than capsicum peppers. Although the staff offered to fix the dish, I believe it should have been right the first time. With no discount offered on either visit, I am doubtful that I will return to this restaurant. Overall, it was a poor showing at best and downright disappointing at worst.

Just had a lovely meal delivered for my husband and I. I was extremely tasty. Delivered promptly. Phone service friendly and polite. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

We haven't used this place for some time after a bad experience with a member of staff. We received a takeaway menu earlier in the week so decided to give them a try again our worst mistake? We ordered a set meal for two with a couple of extras. We waited an hour and thirty minutes for delivery when the meal arrived we found to our dismay that they had sent us the pickle tray but not sent the poppadum's we had also ordered a portion of chips which they had not sent. When we rang them to say things were missing we were told we could go and collect them or wait another hour for delivery. Having had a couple of glasses of wine it was not feasible to collect them and we did not want to wait so they said they would credit our next order (which will now never happen)When the meal was served up it was found that all the food was cold or at the best Luke warm there was no way that this food had just come from the restaurant to ourselves in this condition a journey of half a mile at most it had obviously been taken out with other deliveries and we were the last drop off on the drivers journey back. We had to reheat all the food but it was so bad that we finished up having to bin 80 percent of it. It was a complete waste of time and money, we would not recommend this place at all.
