Nordsee Oldenburg Achternstraße

I love fast eating when I'm on the go, especially traditional fast eating, they know the places that are clean and efficient, can even have a few cans, but eating is the traditional eating of the opposite North Sea in the old town is one of these places. it even has side walk table to eat, what can they ask for more? it may not be the ding for everyone, but I really like the marinated fish sandwiches to these places. I grew up in the 1950s outside of oldenburg and I remember that I waited on the side of the road for the plucked herring car to pass, it was horse pulled and had barrels of different kinds of paved fishing that they could buy. my favorite was the herring roll-mops, which rolled in a round a flat piece of pickled herring together with toothpicks. I've never exhausted this taste.

It was all clean. the service was very friendly. that was even brought to us the table. the food was very delicious.

As A 100% London/UK lad I love Fish&Chips havent really spotted anything that matches the UK scene until a visit here... Really good quality, Bright, charming and clean with a nice emanating scent of nicely fried, nicely battered and well served fish n chips Plus other optional delicacies..and a decent fresh counter as well for those on the GO .... Love it!

Good place to grab a quick bite. If you are a fish lover, this is the place to be in Oldenburg. Staff is really good.
