Tavern 56 - Okmulgee

The staff at this restaurant is fantastic, and they offer karaoke on Thursdays. If you're not into karaoke like me, any other day is a great option. The food is high quality, the service is excellent, and the turnaround time is quick. The people here are also wonderful. Overall, this restaurant makes Okmulgee worth a visit.

Oh, my WORD... the Tip of Nachos was on point. There's nothing like nachos with burt ends on top. This dish was wonderful.

This was a neat little place! The food was good, the service was good. Would have given this place 5 stars if the employees weren't playing music that was downright ronchy. My family were the only customers in there at the time.

The food was good and the server (blonde girl) was very nice and helpful. However, the bartender (dark brown curly hair girl) was extremely loud and was very rude to multiple customers. She was nice ish to me and my family but did roll her eyes when being asked a question about the wine list and had a nasty look on her face. To other customers she was yelling at them and being obnoxiously rude for absolutely no reason at all. She seems as though she has a temper and is not cut out for the service industry especially working in a bar. Considering you are working for tips and the place is very slow on a saturday night, you would think she would be nicer, but clearly that’s not the case. I don’t ever write reviews but I have never seen anyone act the way this bartender did in my entire life.

Most of the food was good, greenbeans were extremely tough, was loud, either short staffed or just slow service. Chicken was very good, tea was good.
