Yokozuna Chisholm Creek - Oklahoma City

The sushi was absolutely incredible! Our waiter was fantastic and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The only downside was the mixed drink I ordered, as it was flavorful but lacked a strong alcohol presence. However, this small issue wouldn't deter me from visiting again!

The food was average but overpriced. The service was poor as our server ignored us for a majority of the visit, making it the worst service I've had in a long time. I do not plan on returning. Additionally, the server neglected the lady next to our table, who appeared displeased with the experience. The restaurant itself has a nice interior. A family sitting across from us had a different server and seemed to have a much more positive experience, highlighting the disparity in service quality. Although the food could have been improved, good service would have made up for it.

I would not recommend this restaurant. Unfortunately, I did not read the one-star reviews beforehand, which mentioned that the food was bland. It seems like Yokozuna focused more on the ambiance (which is actually quite nice) and neglected the quality of their food. The dish in the photo was supposed to be Thai green curry, but it looked more like a concoction of sewer sludge with an abundance of carrots. I strongly believe that the sauce was from a jar or powder; it was far from authentic and frankly unappetizing. This was the worst Thai green curry I have ever had, if you can even call it that. I am embarrassed for the restaurant that they serve this dish. My husband's fried rice was also disappointing and appeared sad. It seems like they are unaware of the importance of seasoning and salt. The appetizers were oily but decent enough to eat. Overall, our experience was not good enough to consider returning, but not terrible enough to complain about. The waitress was friendly, but we will not be coming back.

Amazing amazing amazing! Great atmosphere, the decor and paint and design create an amazing vibe. We were sat down immediately and attended fairly quick! Started off with two soups and nigiri and then ordered three roles. Haven’t had miso soup withshiitake mushrooms before yet it was really good! We cleaned every plate and left content! Rolls are made to order and theymanaged to get them out in an efficient manner! All of the flavors were fresh and individually delicious! Highly recommendcoming here with your friends or on a date night, for the 2 of us it came out to a little under $100 with tip, drinks,appetizers, and the rolls. Very affordable and worth the dollar!

The edamame could’ve been better, but the service was nice and we sat on the patio which surprisingly had a great view that night. The reason that they get five stars is because they have the best sushi roll I’ve ever tasted in my life. The risingsun roll. Literally so freaking delicious. Also amazing **** Mary!
