Bidrage med feedbackI don't know how easy it would be to park. We were lucky and parked right outside the door, but the parking lot was up and down on the street. There is a parking garage over the street, but it can be for the apartment building. This place is very small. It's very narrow, but deep. Little bar. Sitting is very tight here. There is room for a family or two, but not much more. Small menu with some hot dogs and a few corn dogs. 1 Hot Dog should track you down. The meat was huge. The corn dogs were short and fat. They're coming with pretty good chips. You have a fairly large outdoor area to eat. It was dark in there. This place is just west of the Hotel Aloft, just on foot. There was also a dog park outside. There were many locals out there, and his in an area with many apartments all around. I liked to visit fun. We have chips and diving, but it didn't matter. Wouldn't get them back, plus, it was just more of the same chips that came with the meal.
Anchor down is a small but beautiful place to eat. You have good hot dogs, pommes and a few other options. You also have a nice selection of beers and cocktails. Your vegan options are very good. They have vegan corn dogs, vegan roasted oreos and some items that are vegan and some that are not listed on their menu or website. If you ask, they will let you know if they have not listed any specials.
Cool place from shipping containers with great food and great service! I have 2 children with allergies and the ladies behind the bar were very helpful to let me know what items I could order for them. I definitely come back the next time I travel through Oklahoma City.
Good food at a good price. Two dogs and a good size part of homemade chips for seven dollars. I burn on burgers and pizza, so this was interesting for me. But you also have burgers if this is your thing or you have a corn dog guard in your group. Good lunch. Cool atmosphere and friendly service. I recommend the rye old-fashioned if you are looking for a cocktail. Lost Ogle trivia on Thursday.
I am always happy to find vegan options when I visit Oklahoma City, and Anchor Down didn’t disappoint. The corn dogs (made with Field Roast Frankfurters) were delicious. The meal was very affordable, too! I wish they’d had French fries instead of chips, though. The atmosphere is funky and cool but service was a little spotty.
