Pilot Travel Center - Okeechobee

Clean lot, clean store, large clean showers and friendly staff. I see people giving this place negative reviews for the most stupid of reasons, like the woman who demands 52 towels be provided etc. but I enjoyed my night here after a hard day of drivinga semi in an area frequented by the most stupid of 4 wheelers!

This Pilot travel center and the surrounding area is very much an oasis and modern where it counts but also a throwback to an older Florida. Staff is very friendly and the facilities are always super clean. Waited in line forever. Picked up a beef jerky and the sign said BOGO with ?any? drink. So we picked up 2 jerky?s and 2 seltzer drinks, got to the counter to pay and the lady said these drinks don?t count you have to buy a water or something else.Very poor customer service. So we walked out and left everything on the counter. So if you have a special you need to make itclear what it really means. We travel a lot and we will no longer be visiting a pilot Flying J.

Great helpful staff. Best coffee. Had all the last minute items I may have forgotten. Great fuel price and perks. Clean restrooms. I look forward to stopping in every Friday night.

Showers clean, coffee cheap and delicious. One star for your staff member Ann, cashier lady. She was unhelpful and unfriendly.
