I went to this place for a quick lunch. I was shocked to hear that a 20% gratuity was automatically added to my bill so I wouldn't have to worry about leaving a tip when I finish my lunch. First of all, this is not a sit down restaurant where someone comes to your table to take your order. You walk up to the counter and order your food. I ordered my food to eat there but when it was ready the guy put my food in a cardboard box and put it on the counter and told me it was ready to pickup. I don't see where a 20% tip is warranted here. I do tip well at restaurants that are full service and the service and food are good. Here the food was ok but the service IMO shouldn't require an upfront 20% tip.
