Jolly Kone - OJAI

It was a little waiting, but it is kovid time so that is normal. I have to say that they work hard because the burgers, fries and onion rings were nice and hot. It was a good classic Hamburg stand at a reasonable price. The ice cream was delicious.

I grew up down the street from Jolly Kone and ate there all the time. For the first time this week I took my 3 year old there and we shared a chocolate shake. It was every bit as good as what I remembered. This is the perfect little burger shack and a true jewel of Ojai.

Miss their rolled beef taquitos, everyone only has shredded beef now and they’re not great. At least the kept the avocado sauce the same. Also CB are best as well. Update: food it still the best!!

Nice, cool corner. Everything tasted fresh. The prices are high. Normally I would say quality corresponds to the price, but these prices are a little too high. The shakers were thick and made with real ice cream, not softly served. The burgers were delicious. The grilled cheese with ham was good, the cheese was a little strong tasting for me (Cochdar cheese, I usually eat Colby Jack). There are also Bolbas, banana columns and various flavors for Shakes. Go back, especially for the shakes.

This is a fantastic restaurant with an impressive menu that offers a wide variety of options. The staff is friendly and consistently polite. I’ve never had a disappointing meal here.
