Bread And Roses Bakery - Ogunquit

Bread and Roses used top be THE best bakery on the south coast of m=Maine, when they were a storefront in Ogunquit. Previously gave t;hem a 5 star review. No longer. Success apparently went to their heads. They closed the Ogunquit location and moved everything to their commercial bakery (i.e, wholesale) in Wells. Place looks like a dump from the outside, and they were already closed for the season before Columbus Day weekend. This is a place that used to be open almost all year round. They 've lost myself and several other loyal customers with their poor decision.

Worst cookie I've ever eaten. Zero flavor, so much oil it fell apart in the bag.

Crushed that they moved out of the center of Ogunquit. Went to the new location... significantly smaller set of options. Almost everything I like is unavailable. Hope they come back or bring back the lost items

Sad they no longer have their store but this is a MUCH more convenient location. Hopefully it will get better as time goes by. The bakery is still excellent.

GREAT bakery but NOTE this location is closed. The new location is located just 3 miles up Rte 1 in Wells. Look for it on Google maps. Amazing pies and cakes!
