The Back Door Lounge - Oglesby

Very busy place, had to wait a bit for service but food was good. It was nice to relax a bit after a long hike around Starved Rock.

Service is terrific. Had the best Penne Primavera there and the fall sangria drink was amazing.

Walked in this place and was completely ignored. My friend was at the bar for 5 minutes and still no one acknowledged her. It was at least 2 bartenders and waitstaff standing at the bar.

Sat at bar and chilled with friendly staff. Manager Manuel rocked. The place you really go when you say you are hiking. Flourless choc dessert is awesome. House beer with eagle nice. Made by Lienies I think. Also, breakfast buffet next door a greatdeal. If u sit outside, the view is fantastic. 5 years later, Jake does great job serving. Benches at bar still hurt to sit on.Great beer. Limited menu, had read ahead online was hoping for strawberry salad. Couldn 't watch my football game. Love theenvironment. Will return again. Like visiting old neighborhood.

Nice atmosphere. That's it. Go somewhere else to eat. Small bar food portions. Not worth the price. Bad and slow service. Everyone that works there seems unhappy to be there.
