The Irish Gypsy - O'Fallon

This seems like the typical pub/bar. It has a good menu and the food is great for a bar. What seems to be the difference is the ownership. The owners do better than other places to keep the employees happy. They even come around to make sure you're happy and get to know you. I'll keep going back for sure.

I ordered the Gypsy Philly on garlic cheese bread with home made chips and a side of beer cheese. Had a cup of chili as an appetizer. The beer cheese is the best I’ve ever had. The sandwich had so much flavor, it had a sweet sauce with a kick that was outstanding. The chili. had the right amount of spice and was delicious.

I was just powering through on a cross-country trip and happened upon this place. It 's got a great character about it. There was a guy who bought Irish Breakfasts all around, and we all enjoyed OJ, Jameson 's and a slice of thick bacon. Amazing! Wish I lived nearby, it would be my place.

These folks absolutely rock it. I have never had bad service here. The owners are front and center with the staff, and there is not a bad item on their menu.

The most amazing pickle chips and mules ever! Highly recommended for some quick eats and good times.
