Shack Breakfast Lunch - O'Fallon

Had such a pleasant breakfast here!I had the Mommy Where Does Bacon Come From breakfast sandwich, which the chipotle aioli and the salsa fresca gave just the right amount of heat and separated it from your ordinary breakfast sandwich. So good! I subbed the side of hashbrowns for a pancake (which they didn’t even upcharge me for, so that was nice) and I was not expecting a pancake the size of my head!! The pancake itself had a hint of sweetness, and if I wasn’t so full from my sandwich already I would have finished it. Definitely recommend the pancakes!My husband had the Make a Grown Man Cry burrito which was also surprisingly so good. Again the salsa fresca gave it the right amount of bite and every bite was just a little bit different to keep it interesting. He also had the I Do What I Want boozy shake which wasn’t as overly sweet as you might think it was, but very rich. I don’t think I could have finished it but he really liked it.My only complaint was it looked like a toddler had sat in the spot before us that they didn’t clean very well, so I kept sticking my foot in scrambled eggs. Other than that, food was excellent and we will be back.

Magically Delicious! Such a great concept. Really good food. I thoroughly enjoyed the “Junk in the Trunk” Slinger. So good. Service was great. Decor is awesome.Food: 5/5

B̶r̶e̶a̶k̶f̶a̶s̶t̶ “service of champions”if it wasn’t for our nice and attentive server we wouldn’t have had such a good experience! Our food was in the just okay catergory as we felt to be lacking in flavor and consistency. Our drinks were good and quick to arrive to our table. But our server was extremely knowledgeable about the menu. Our drinks weren’t ever empty and our service was prompt. Food wasn’t bad but I think there is probably better breakfast around. We also didn’t like that half the menu is excluded on Sundays. But we did like the coffee station by the front- very good idea!

Fresh and delicious food in an eclectic setting. Kitchen sink skillet was yummy with perfectly cooked over medium eggs. They also have a gluten free menu and the GF pancake was good!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free menu

Shack's French toast is the real deal! It was crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and oozing with cinnamon and vanilla flavors. The service was top-notch and the cozy atmosphere made for an amazing experience. Can't wait to go back!Food: 5/5
