Toilet situation is totally unacceptable.. there are more free clean fine toilets at åre östersund airport than in the whole of Central östersund. Now in mittpunkten must pensioners, families with small children use a complicated, stupid mobile phone system in order to pay 5kr.

Welcome to the local hangout place for the drunkards, drug dealers, beggars from Bulgaria, rebels from Romania and common rabble of Ostersund! Here you will be able to stock up on weed and booze and have a chance to rub elbows with the lowest of Swedish society. Parking is difficult and expensive, everything in the parking garage smells like urine and then you finally figure out how the elevator works you will have access to a plethora of overpriced stores and some run of the mill grocery chain place. The only reason it gets more than the minimum rate is the fact that they have a store called Phone house, with very skilled staff. Look for a heavily tattooed guy with wild hair and ask away. He will give honest answers and help you out with your phone. Don't say you were not warned. Also, if you need a public bathroom, be aware that you have to go through a complicated task of downloading a local app to your smartphone (if you happen to have one) and then pay a hefty fee for not having to do like the rest of the locals, who pee in the parking area. Sorry, Ostersund but this place is a failure of management.
