Bidrage med feedbackBra mat och bra service. Tyvärr var maten inte så varm, men när vi sa det fick vi mer ris och sås som var riktigt varm.
Is this the best Indian restaurant in northern Stockholm? Most likely! It might not be the cheapest option, but it is definitely worth every penny. The food is excellent!
I have visited this restaurant three times in the last two years and have noticed a considerable improvement in the quality of the food. The prices are great and the staff is friendly. They offer a wide selection of chicken dishes, with the tandoori being particularly good. However, I found the naan bread to be too oily and more like pita bread than traditional naan. The eating style is reminiscent of northeastern Indian cuisine, which is what I expected in the Nordic countries. It seems that they cater to the preferences of their local customers. While I find this approach to be a bit boring, it clearly works for them. Personally, I would prefer to see more authentic Indian dishes from the southern regions like Goa, Karnataka, and Kerala on the menu. For a more authentic experience, one would have to visit cities like London, Sydney, and Melbourne where there are central and southern Indian restaurants that charge a premium but are always packed with satisfied customers.
The food was delicious and the portion sizes were generous. We ordered a mild thali with tasty sauces, except for the salad dressing which was a bit bland. The only complaint we had was about the naan bread, which was not as flavorful or as fluffy as we had hoped. It felt more like a fried pancake rather than traditional tandoori naan. (And we are quite picky about our tandoori bread at home!)
Ok across the board. Nothing to fancy but nothing bad to mention either. The buffet has gotten much better as of late but the pricing seems to have risen along with the quality.
