Vigskc - Odessa

My fiancé and I stumbled vignettes from Google, and I'm so glad we decided to stop! Those were the hands down, the best BBQ I ever had. We traveled from Utah back to Atlanta and this is undoubtedly the best meal we had on our trip! We both have the burned ends, I got potato salad and cheese potatoes both were phenomenal) and my husband got the baked beans and the cheesy potatoes he loved both). We loved the burned ends so much we bought to take a pound home, and Vig was nice enough to vacuum them so that they stayed fresh on our trips. Vig took the time to tell us about his business, his food and his family. We definitely felt welcome as soon as we got in! If we're ever around somewhere, we'll be back without a doubt! Thanks for the great food, great atmosphere and wonderful entertainment!

Vig's is our new favorite place to eat, we were immediately hooked. The service was so friendly and this guy knows his grill! The smoked meats are so juicy and filled with taste, and the cheese potatoes should die for! I can't say enough good things about this place. If you are new in town or looking for excellent quality cooked food, head up and give it a try.

VIGs is the best! Not only the food is just excellent, but the atmosphere was just right – secret and welcoming, nothing fantastic nor it must be. Then, upstairs, you have the man yourself, Vig the owner who is a jewel of a guy. He really brightened our cross-country ski trails with his friendliness and generosity. This is a place where we will visit at any time, we get a chance – in fact we are planning a special Ozark's trip so that we can try more items on the menu! I had the brisket with baked beans and the Cheesy taters, and my partner had the burned ends with Cole Slav and baked beans... everything was unbelievable, also for my demanding travel companion who gets out of the south and knows his 'Q'! Everything. This place is literally everything. From cleanliness they keep it up to the original view of the restaurant inside. I'm super impressed. Of course, the food is excellent. The sections are enormous. I had the Brisket sandwich and a chicken sandwich. Both exceeded my expectations. The brisket has so much taste and it is cooked for perfection. I love that customers control how much of their ingenious sauce should be used on the sandwich. The owner is probably the most beautiful person I've ever met. He's welcoming and super sweet. Go on!

My family and I wanted to try something new and came upon Vigs. I ordered the Reuben sandwich and wife ordered the Brisket sandwich and my daughter had the ham. Sides were Beans and cheesy corn potatoes. First off Vig is a very friendly guy and makes you feel at home. When we got our food I was surprised at the amount of food you received for the low price you pay. I myself am I big man and can put away some food....I couldn't finish the Rueben sandwich (homemade sauce is A+ . Everything we ate was excellent and had the nice smoke flavor to it. Like I told Vig himself.... This is our new favorite BBQ place. Everyone needs to try this place once.
