Doughboy's Cafe - Odessa

We've been here 3 times in two weeks. Our first visit was for lunch. Their brisket and the combination burritos are full of flavor. The chili verde burrito had good flavor but some gristle. I want to try one of their tortas. Next we met friends for breakfast and were able to try a variety of products. The red velvet doughnuts are heavenly. My husband, a cake doughnut fanatic, was taken with their blueberry doughnuts and the fruit filled stick (I don't know its name). I liked the apple fritter because it is so large we got 3 servings from it. On our third trip I tried the breakfast potato and chorizo burrito. It was the perfect blend of ingredients. I really like the touch of being on a toasted tortilla, not a cold one. My husband returned to his favorites, red velvet, blueberry and fruit stick. I'm not a coffee drinker, but my husband and friends are. They were pleased with the coffee. I like having flavored fresh brewed iced tea. I have also had the Almond Joy latte made with just steamed milk instead of coffee. It was good, but would have been even excellent if I had asked for extra shots of flavor. Doughboys is going to become a regular Saturday morning stop for us. I also anticipate more than a few lunches.

OMGosh if you haven't already, you need to try this awesome place!! Awesome Bean/Asadero burritos, brisket burritos etc..... For all who enjoy their java....they have a awesome variety!! And their bakery good are out of this world!! And to top it off!!! The atmosphere is awesome!! Thank you Doughboy for making our lunches feel like home!! Music is great too!!

Stopped the other day for the first time! Absolutely loved their flavored coffee and breakfast burrito was great! Highly recommend it and the staff was amazing!

The lunch burrito was delicious and moist for brisket flavor. The hot sauces was amazing. Tried their Carmel frappe which was awesome. Keep up the good work!!!

Without a doubt, that was the best apple fritter I have had in 20 years. The blueberry donut was light and fluffy like a muffin, I can't wait to try the rest of the menu.
