Bidrage med feedbackWe visited O’Tarro for dinner. even if we had no reservations, they have managed a table for us on the cafeteria side. the menu is unique and they could pay attention to the selection and preferences and allergies of food. the service. was appealing and friendly. most importantly, that their personal is amazing, for example, they delivered tasting of dessert menus before we were able to choose our thoughts about the Portuguese specialties. a great culinary experience as a whole
I have just enjoyed a delicious steak, cooked by myself on a stone ‘plate’ all served with my meal, as we sat at the table for me, when someone who rarely eats steak, this was the first time, this method of cooking (what was an essential raw steak) by simply cutting up the meat and letting the very hot stone cook the meat exactly I wanted it. apologise for not knowing the Portuguese name for such a meal, but it was very excellent. served with thin frying, by-product and some sauces and washed with a beautiful local red wine, by a very friendly staff really made this experience unforgettable. Thank you!
The staff is very friendly and ready to help in English. go to the day menu! I had the kalapaus, 2 fish, fresh from the grill, very well prepared, and a flan caramel as dessert, along with some water, glass wine, brot and...olives, it costs only 16.6€
It was tough to find a restaurant to accommodate us on the May 1st weekend. We waited quite a while here for a table. We ordered an excellent veggie pizza and bottle of wine. The waiter was nice enough to give us a bottle cooler...to take with us.
I had just finished walking from são luis to odemira over the rota vicentina and was faded by the time I arrived at 16 o'clock in the city. I found o tarro that looked clean and quiet. I ordered the prato do dia, the cocido Portugues....Not only was it a huge part, but also tasty... delicate meat, hearty stuff and just good. for dessert I had the pudim. so creamy, rich and tasty.
