Bidrage med feedbackAfter mentioning in the guide, the reviews on the Internet and the Falstaff Guide Award, we had expected more! No question: The food tasted as well as the wine; above all projected or in any way special, but both were not. At 19:00 three dishes were sold out. Although it was still early in the evening, we had the feeling that the staff was hired for the evening. The waiter could not go fast enough; we had barely looked at the menu and not yet worked together as he already accepted the order. With great gesture he brought one minute later for each two pieces of gray bread with normal, very hard butter and described it of course great as Amuse-Gaule . Too much good (mostly with a beaten real egg on the grounds! and very touristy. You should not necessarily follow a tip in the guide, but follow your own nose; In this way we found in Oberwesel on the days before a barn and a small wine bar and both very well eaten and also drank an excellent wine. At more civilian prices than in the historical wine industry!
A wonderful restaurant with a special flair. The dishes are the hammer and the operation super nice and accommodating.
A beautiful place to stay, surrounded by the old wine town of Oberwesel, you will find this tasty little wine garden at the southern end of the city. With homemade, small delicacies and regional wine it can be very nice for romantics. Inside the angled ridges is also very nice in the rain or in winter.
Small, fine, with charm and beautifully designed restaurant. Cosy! Beautiful relaxed atmosphere, friendly and attentive service. The food we enjoyed, heaven and ae, baked sheep cheese to me salad, salad with puddles and as dessert of the chocolate room with mousse, chicks, cold dog were a dream. All this, after my Meinumg, at a great price. It is also necessary to try the other dishes of the map.
Great! Delicious local dishes with seasonal and regional ingredients, with a rustic ambience with authentic operation. We were very cold in the evening, but it was very pleasant and warm in the old walls.
