Zahringer Hof - Oberried

We were a little disappointed. In our opinion, service, equipment and food were not worth a star. The food was good - without a doubt, This quality is very common in this (higher) price segment. We did not find a single highlight on the contrary. The service was more like a good pension!

Randomly found and the overnight stay as a stopover has proved to be a real surprise. The room was cozy, modern and clean and the view of madness! The situation is truly unique. Breakfast was prepared with love and left nothing to be desired. Very high quality, very attentive staff and a real feel-good atmosphere. We definitely come back, but then longer and also for dinner.

We stayed at the 04.09. evening with 4 adults and 2 children. I've known the Zähringerhof for a long time and I've come to dinner more often. The remnant is situated a bit away from larger villages such as the Münstertal, in a great natural landscape on the Stohren, with a wonderful long-distance view into the Rhine plain. The parking facilities are very good and also for children it is ideal because there is no access road. Small playground is available. The ambience is as you imagine in the Black Forest, very cozy and cosy. The service this evening was very courteous and very friendly. You felt very welcome. I can only join the Gault Millau in the chosen dishes. All that is possible is absolutely regional, fresh and prepared at an excellent level. This applies both to the fish specialties and to the veal riches selected this evening. The boss personally welcomed all guests (not only regular guests) personally and asked if everything was okay. I find this personally very suitable and I liked it well. All in all, I can recommend the Zähringerhof at the very best, whether after a hike on a bread time, or for a great evening with friends for a good meal. Everything was perfect this evening and we will definitely get back to the Riesterer family in your Zähringerhof.
