AktivArena Am Kolben - Oberammergau

We bought a ticket for the Alpine coaster but because of the que we decided to eat something first here. It was busy on the terrace but we were lucky to find the last place. We didn't order much, I personally had the Kaiserschmarrn (Euro...9,80) but it took very long before it came. I believe they even forgot us. The more because a table which arrived 10 minutes later got the exact same earlier than us. That was the moment that the woman helping us thought something was nog correct and 5 minutes later we got our food. But I must say, it was good! Nice place to eat here. By the way, I believe the name is Kolbensattelhütte and not AktivArena as is lister now here.

Why a fun find. You can gone up or take the ski lifts (yes in summer). Arrive during lunch time so you can have lunch here, descent food. And ride the alpine coaster down. May also be a great hike up for others and coaster...down. There’s a great playground for kids at the restaurant. Buy your tickets at the Dow the mountain.

Reasonably priced restaurant located near end of the chair lift on Kofel. We enjoyed the things we ate there. I'll attach a photo of the menu with the prices.

Wir haben auf dem Weg von Oberammergau zum August-Schuster-Haus hier Rast gemacht und etwas getrunken. Die Hütte liegt zentral (und auch mit dem Lift gut erreichbar) - dementsprechend viel Trubel war hier. Die Bedienung war sehr nett. Zum Essen kann ich nichts sagen.
